Chinese President Xi Jinping has instructed his advisers to find a way to help Russia financially without violating sanctions, The Washington Post quoted U.S. and Chinese officials as saying.
- According to the paper's interlocutors, Beijing is in a difficult situation because, on the one hand, it wants to help "its most important strategic partner" and, on the other hand, it fears that in response the U.S. and its allies will impose sanctions.
