From 1 October 2022 brokers will not execute non-qualified orders for purchase of securities of issuers from unfriendly countries if the share of such securities in the portfolio of the investor exceeds 15%.

From November 1, 2022 the threshold for such transactions will be 10% of the portfolio of the client, from December 1 - 5%.

From the beginning of 2023 brokers will not have to execute orders of non-qualified persons for purchase of securities of issuers from unfriendly countries.

Restrictions do not apply to the closure of short positions.

The Central Bank will later decide on transactions with securities of issuers from friendly countries.

Until October 1 you can still buy securities if you are not afraid of future infrastructure risks. It is possible that the Central Bank will prohibit ownership of "toxic" assets altogether.

It is possible to sell CSIs, the restrictions apply only to purchases.
