People around the world will be poorer in 2022, the OECD predicts

Inflation in rich countries is expected to rise considerably, up to 9%. In the Netherlands, for example, inflation will be 9.2% this year. In the UK, prices are projected to rise by 8.8%, twice the December forecast (4.4%).

The rate of economic growth is likely to fall.  Poor countries risk being on the verge of food shortages, OECD.
