Shipments of mid-range phones decreased only by 24%. GS Group analysts believe that the supply of cheap smartphones decreased due to the departure from the Russian market of Samsung, which accounted for one-third of deliveries. In addition, Xiaomi and Realme reduced shipments by half.

The chip crisis has also increased the cost of manufacturing smartphones: "Those devices, which used to cost 10 thousand rubles, are now sold for 15 thousand rubles. Processors, memory and other components have become more expensive," Kommersant's source.
