This change will increase the upper limit of payments for sick leave, maternity benefits by one and a half times, said Vyacheslav Volodin. A single fund will begin to operate on January 1, 2023.

Funds, which will be released after the optimization of costs for the maintenance of the apparatus and property due to the consolidation of the Pension Fund and Social Insurance Fund in a single Social Fund, will be used to increase pensions, said Deputy Head of the RF Ministry of Labor Andrei Pudov.
