Yandex benefited from the asset swap with VK

The company exchanged assets with VK. Yandex will get Delivery Club, while VK will get Yandex Zen and Yandex News.

Yandex now owns the two largest food delivery services. Service Yandex and Delivery Club occupy about a quarter of the market of delivery of ready-made food.

And the delivery market is growing every year - according to analysts' calculations: at the end of 2022, the market will be 675.2 billion rubles. In 2024, the turnover could grow to 1 trillion rubles.

The company's shares have gained 13% since the announcement of the deal. Quotes are at a six-month high.
