China benefits from the "war" on cryptocurrency in the U.S. - CEO of Coinbase
WarketWatch published an article by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong. He gives his take on the restrictive U.S. policy on cryptocurrencies and speculates on who benefits from it in the first place.
"The United States and other democracies are confronting digital systems promoted by an ambitious adversary, China. The PRC seeks to challenge the dollar with the launch of its own CBDC," Armstrong noted.
Armstrong believes the U.S. could miss its chance if it continues to press the industry.
