US confiscates bitcoins from local Satanists

A US district court has sentenced the founder of the Reformed Church of Satan, Aria DiMezzo, to one and a half years in prison. The woman was involved in the illegal exchange of fiat currencies for bitcoin from June 2020 to January 2021.

Aria received 18 months behind bars, a year's parole and a $5,000 fine. The court also ordered 1.93 BTC and $14,000 confiscated from the Church of Satan.
